Have a pair of Gerrard hatch that continually fight if left to their own devices. Left one out after he escaped for a pen cleaning, came back out a couple hours later to see if had found his way back to his pen or near it and he his brother had fought themselves into a mess. Both of them were laying lifeless and panting heavily. There feet and face were banged up really badly. This was a couple weeks ago and the damage has started heal somewhat. Ive attached images of both stags is there need to worry that this is a genetic crooked beak or does it look like they have mangled themselves?

It seem like it could have some calcium deficiency.  That dent on top of the beak seem like it wasn’t completely formed.
