I know the optimal choice is to find a great breeder, but I am not even able to find one that is close to me. I take that back, there is one, but he will not let me on to his farm to select the birds. I would have to pay him and he gives me what he thinks I should get. I wouldn’t get to see them or choose them.
Where do I go from here? I have thought about buying from about 3-4 productions houses, and buying a lot of chickens and selecting my Adam and Eve from them. I know that is taking the long route, but I don’t really see any other option.
Any advice?

What breed are you working with? I’m sure there’s got to be some members within the academy here that you could network with. Maybe get the name of a trustworthy breeder to get your seed fowl from.
