Here is a one year old stag I bought as a chick from Mr. Kenny Troiano.  He is one of the Troiano Red Proximo line.   I am very pleased with these fowl. Nice hard body.  Feels like a football even after being in a barrel colony for seven months.   He just came out of the barrel to go in a grass pen today.   Has a very calm temperament.  I just can’t say enough nice things about these fowl.  I hope to buy a Troiano hen next year to mate him with.

He has great conformation of body. I can’t wait to see what he looks like at 24+ years of age. They change so much from month to month.

I took his brother out of the barrel colony today. He has that same tight football feel that makes a game fowl enthusiast smile.  Super calm temperament. My seven year old daughter had no problem picking him up and putting him back down.   Just can’t say enough nice things about these fowl.  I’ll post pictures later.  Thanks again Mr. Kenny!
