It’s a nasty subject, and I’m sorry, but when it comes to health, it’s Important. That’s true for us (humans, animals in general,) It must also be for them (chickens, American Gamefowl if specifics matter). I understand the relationship between the things I consume and My environment, and the way my my body responds, including taking notice of my waste.

What I do not know, is what my chickens stool tells me about Nutrition and health, beyond a simple understanding that if you see worms in the poo, the thing that made the poo probably has worms; or Diarhea is bad.

What should the ideal consistency of chicken stool be?

Is there a particular color I should be seeing? How often should I be analyzing my chickens stool on a level further than simply seeing it, and what does doing so entail?

Could the texture of stool become a selection point, as it reflects to selecting for health and resistance?

      Any guidance would be appreciated.
