You are right, Kenny. Even in a trio, hen A is superior to hen B. So, it wouldn’t make sense to build a strain based on a trio but a pair. I guess people can hatch from the trio and see what they get for the first generation, but they would still need to choose the best male and best female mong all offspring to get started a strain properly.
