Picking up my latest shipment of the Gamefowl Breeder Layer feed from Kraut Creek Mills. I’m thankful to a locally owned feed store Pay Way Feeds for taking delivery of the pallet of feed. I’m really liking the product Jeff developed.

Happy New Year! 2022 is definitely upon us and I do have a few early chicks started. Goals for 2022 at Bantam Hill are the following:

1. Finish building out pens in the barn loft.

Happy New Year chicks came out of the hatcher today. 13 silver Ameraucana bantams and 7 brown red bantam Ameraucana improvement line chicks.

I have my first order of Game Fowl Breeder Grower and Game Fowl Breeder Layer from Kraut Creek Mills ordered. I should arrive in Missouri the first week of January 2022 (next week). I’m splitting a ton with another person. I will be interested to see how fast I go through it and how the chickens like it.

Heading into another round of sorting and then culling of middle age group of grow outs. The large fowl black Ameraucana are looking much better in this group of grow outs. I ended up culling the entire first hatch over comb problems.
