My name is Derek Yelton and I have been raising Gamefowl for over 25 years in Western North Carolina.  I have learned so much from my time in the breeders academy.  Like Kenny I have had the pleasure of working with and talking with Tony Saville.  I showed birds with Tony as Judge and gained a wealth of knowledge and we’ve continued to talk through the years.  My love of Gamefowl started as a teen and has now grown into an obsession.  I am currently working on my personal line of black breasted black reds I call The Inferno Line, I also have a line of Black Breasted Reds, and a line of Silver Duckwings.  My birds are my pride and life work and I can’t wait to see the progress as I continue this amazing journey.
